General Park Concerns
Discussed planting lilacs or crab apple trees and placing rocks around the stump area on the south side of the park.  Gene and Alex will meet with Julie to plan further.

Jeff reported that the work on home #83 is complete.  The committee decided the mobile home will be sold through a mobile home sales company to get a quicker sale.

Discussed a long-term policy regarding rent change requests resulting from changes in income.
Kathryn is going to speak to the MHA lawyer about including a statement in the lease giving permission to the MHA to sell a resident’s mobile home if rent is not paid for X amount of time.

Loretta reviewed the financials with the committee.

Rules & Regulations
The management committee proceeded by reviewing, revising and completing the Rules and Regulations.

A notice will be sent to all residents stating the new policies regarding cats in the park.  These policies will be strictly enforced after the sale of the part.

A policy was created that states under what conditions residents will be allowed to be absent from their homes for more than four months per year.  It was established that the home can only be rented for the amount of rent that is due on it.  Renters need to have background and credit checks as well as have a short-term rental agreement on file with the management company.

Committee members assigned themselves to upcoming resident meetings to ensure that there will be people available to answer questions.

Lot Lease Review
Reviewed and revised the Lot Lease.

Committee members decided to read through the Lot Lease and the Rules and Regulations before signing off on them at the Steering Committee meeting September 7.

Resident Requests
Resident requested permission to construct a lattice fence.  MHA approves so long as the fence is within 8 feet of his home.

The homeowner is requesting permission to install two 12X8‚ decks, one at the front and one at the back of the mobile home.

Respectfully submitted,

Lori Anderegg
