go to top
Attended: Kathryn Alexander, Alex Wilson, Gene Langlois, Tammy Lynn.
Corrected and approved minutes from June 26, 2004.
Discussed the sidewalk in front of lot #77 that needs to be repaired. Gene is to talk to Mark Reeder ASAP.
A car has damaged the fence along the bend on the south west side of the park. Is the City responsible for repairs? The issue should be directed to Julie.
A resident has given permission to another resident to complete the fence construction right up to their home.
A resident has to deconstruct part of their covered0 porch. The City of Boulder stated that the building permit granted allows for construction of a cover and walls over that existing print only.
Discussed the area south of lot #176 as a neighborhood play area for the MHA children. The area was planned as a community garden.
Alex has a design in mind for the mud patch on the south side of the greenway. He will submit a design to Loretta for approval. Discussed the possibility of planting flowers or grass there.
Kathryn updated the committee on the Affordability Plan. The rent tiers will be opened up to residents in an attempt to better balance the distribution of households within each tier and to encourage those residents who have not submitted their paperwork yet. The City stated that there might be additional money available if we can achieve more households in the lower tiers. Information will be distributed to residents when it is finalized.
To assist in the creation of the new lot leases the Management Committee will walk the park to verify which lots have sheds, porches, etc.
Reviewed and discussed the new lot leases. Kathryn will add the changes to be reviewed again at the next meeting and completed ASAP.
Discussed the possibility of requiring home owner’s insurance for residents who have in-home businesses. This issue will be taken to the Steering Committee Meeting.
Kathryn updated the committee on the replat which is going to City Council tomorrow night. The issue with the easement of 26th Street which allows that road to be extended through the park as a public street was not included in the package going to Council. The City of Boulder has stated that this will never happen. Mark is calling the Council members and explaining the issue to them. The information will be presented at the beginning of the Council meeting tomorrow.
Respectfully submitted,
Lori Anderegg
