Management Committee Summary Meeting Minutes for 11 August 2003 at 3:00 pm
Held at Thistle Community Housing, 1845 Folsom Street
Attendance Alex Wilson, Kathryn Alexander, Gene Langlois, Jonathan Machen
Minutes for 22 July were approved.
Next Meeting August 25, 2003, 3-5 pm at Thistle.
To do
Kathryn volunteered to look back at old minutes and come up with a more complete to-do list.
Gene, Alex and Jonathan agreed to talk to possible new members and invite them to the next meeting.
Kathryn to create form for new members.
Addressed that Rules and Regulations need to be completed. Other unresolved issues include automobiles, cats, and dogs.
Discussed the procedure to inform neighbors and park members about upcoming parties including quiet times, trash clean-up, and parking.
Discussed prospective members for the Management Committee- Kathryn will create a form for prospective members to simplify the application procedure. MGMT committee members were matched up with prospective members to invite them to attend a MGMT meeting.
Management meetings are currently on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 3-5p.m. at Thistle Community Housing.
At 4:00 Loretta Milcarek from Hast and Jeff Yegian from the City joined the meeting.
Loretta reported that the lot for rent at 35B had three inquires. One respondent had a 1958 trailer that has been reconditioned but might be too small for the lot. Another respondent had a 1992 model but was hesitant to pay the $3000 infrastructure costs.
Items to discuss with Douglas/City: Who will respond to water sprinkler issues when they’re done? Are they testing for mosquitoes? Sandy’s bushes; Gene’s sidewalk.
The pet policy needs to be made clearer so that it can be properly enforced by Julie.
Colorado Security can be called if there are any noise disturbances. There charge $35 and are usually effective.
Meeting Change: Loretta can attend on the 2nd and 3rd Monday evenings and the 4th Wednesday. Jeff can attend at 5 p.m. any evening.
Request Approvals: the picket fence for resident; the shed for resident as long as the new shed replaces the old shed (in the same location) and the old shed is properly disposed of.
Respectfully Submitted,
Lori Anderegg
